Courage
Just a thought about the word "courage". We are saturated with very untrue versions of this word every day. In TV, in movies in every aspect of American society. It corrodes our politics and our business. We so often associate courage with having the strength to attack, destroy, win. It's as if we use this word to gloss over the reality of it. True courage is having the strength to fight that battle you'll never win. To stand up for something that no one cares about. To be selfless in the face of adversity. We don't have enough of that in our me,mine, culture. -End soap box.
Dinner- I had dinner with snydy last night. K. Actually made the first joke of the night. Snydy and I must be slipping. She's usually the moderator and judge. It was fun! I was tired and had to concentrate driving home. I had my first major wreck in many years driving because I was tired. I hate making the same mistake twice. I'm a little paranoid now when I'm tired. Whatever gets me home safe. -C
