Mickey Mouse kinda day

I looked at my watch this morning and saw the date 9-11. I instantly thought of where I was. Who I was with. What I was doing. I wasn't really all that into the whole five year thing. It is a big day. A sad day. I would have preferred something special on T.V. Then let it be done and people go about dealing with it in their own way. The 11 o' clock news made sure no one forgot. It was cheesy like all newscasts are now. Unbefitting of something like this picture. It doesn't matter what newscast you watch....It's pretty much all the same. Most networks had something to say in a different way all day long. They said it over and over. Again ....That is unbefitting of something like this. Does beating a subject to death with the media disrespect something like this...I say yes.
