what was my initial plan for 2007? to be married on 7th July 2007. to receive a dowry of $7777.77. to receive 7 trays of gifts from him. however, it is not meant to be. still, 2007 has yet to end. i can still wait for the real prince charming to sweep me off my feet. oh ya hor, prince charles is single again. who knows you might have to call me Princess Dahlia..? (dream on lah)

anyway, i am not really looking forward for anything this year. why? big bro is getting married. sob.sob.sob. it will be his last year of spending hari raya with us before he gets married. instead of the five of us, it will be like 6 of us. knowing my family well, they guarded themselves from all outsiders. i was like that initially.

future sis-in-law (bleargh. this sounds weird. i am 3 years older than her actually) came to our house on last saturday for the first time for a casusal visit. the big bro has to get some sleep somemore. me and young bro went mute suddenly. small bro asked me, "asal dia duduk rumah kita, pulak?" (why she's at our house) so me and small bro did our own stuff. however the noble me, decided that it would be rude for us not to make her feel at home. we would not be a good host then. so i invited her for a dvd marathon at my room. it was nice. dark, cold and cosy room. with tidbits and chocolates. the heavy rain sets the atmosphere for lazing time. we watched "the holiday" and "dreamgirls". there might be some awkward moments but both of us tried our best to be comfortable with each other. it might take some time for us to warm up to each other i guess.

2007. the year i will turn a quarter of a century. guess upon turning 25, the doors for courting will be closed. still, there might be a blessing in disguise. who know's the happiness might just appear at the eleventh hour, rite..?

p/s: i am determine to make 2007 a memorable year for me despite everything..
