Calling on Snydy

So this is another trip down memory lane. Although not quite as far back as Sha Na Na. I was talking to Snydy tonight and he mentioned the dickman won't answer his phone. It made me think back to the good old days. Back in the day calling Snydy could be an adventure. Although I almost never got through. There were rules as well. If his mom or dad answered and he couldn't hear them yell you had to call back. This left about a 50/50 chance you'd get to talk to him. Your odds where pretty good on the rare chance that Randi answered that you'd get him. That goes for the dickman as well. The best and the worst at the time was when Ray answered because even if Snydy was sitting right next to him he wasn't home. Many a time I'd be like "I called you weren't home." Then Snydy would be like "yeah I was." Then we discovered Ray answered. You have to remember that in those days it was rare to even get through. So you had to pray the right person answered. So I think the Dickman has learned well. Lets hope he calls back. Good stuff-C

The cricket chirps because of the things it doesn't know.
1) whether it's doing chicken,beef, or both?
2) Is Freddy smith there?
3) Who's Troy? And when is his birthday anyways?

that was funny.. and true... if dad answered forget about it. no rod for you. but anyone who answered, you felt like you were bothering them. theo
