Reflections.......

So I lost my pics in the recent update of my comp.I had saved them to a disc and they didn't save. I had 80 but there were only a few good ones that I posted here. So...... The trip is over and was a whole lot of fun. The good quotes coming from this trip are "Hot Tea" and "are you trying to get us killed?" This was said in the jambase article about Bonnaroo " It is just as much about what you missed as what you saw". There is so much wisdom in that line. So much to see, too little time. Plus when you factor in the extreme amounts of water needed to stay coherent......so many pee breaks.

The music was just awsome and it was nice to mix with the energy flowing from the sound. I don't think i've experienced anything like it.My favorites are 1) pearl jam 2) robert randolph 3)Should have been Gogul Bordello but the sound was f'd up.Overall the whole reason to be there for me is the music. I don't care about sponsors, etc. Allot of people complained about the "corporate" presence. When it comes down to it the Roo delivers on the promise of good ,even excellent, live music! That is what matters, right? It is nice to be able to see six bands in a day and not have one of them in the same genre. It is even better when they all play a great set! The musicians involved all know what the fans come to see and bring thier A game. It results in some awesome music. I was not sold on umphrey's magee at vegoose. They played a great set this time! All in all The Roo delivered for me!

The Rv with a Snyda pass is the only way to Roo. It was so sweet! Lets hope and pray Snydy never gets macular degeneration. Because whoever he takes to the roo is hooked up!Thx! The world is a small place. We camped next to a couple from Horsham and Gave someone a ride on the way home who grew up in Flourtown. The funny thing is the person we gave a ride to heard us talk and said are you from Philly? I don't know what tipped her off but I think my accent is the most noticeable????? Although I don't notice it. I also saw loads of Flyers and Phillies shirts. I also caught one artifacts shirt! It's a Small, Small world or we live in a very hippie'd out town!
Well thats all I can think of in this post trip Wrap up.Thats a post!-C

I can't believe yo lost your pictures. What about your 5000 hard drives or other things? Do you need me to show you how to save files to a CDR?
After you DL the pics, did you immediately delete them from your card? Loser move, Loser.

Yea, travel with me & you travel in style. That is the theme of the weekend. I hit about 37 different shows over 4 days. dam. How many did you get to?
I got the BB King, my Morning Jacket, Sharon Jones & Iron & Wine sets off of the XM rebroadcast. Pretty nice.

Roughly 24 to 28 bands over the 4 days. Although I didn't see full sets for three of them(super jam, Phil acoustic and Plant).
